Kimin Kim is a Korea-based painter currently living in Brooklyn, New York. His practice is a continuous exploration of the intersection between botanical symbolism, historical memory, and the ritualized engagement with grief. Drawing on the lyrical registers of Korean poetry, where floral and landscape imagery function as affective surrogates and decorative presences, he traces how these motifs circulate through daily rituals, offerings, and ceremonies of comfort and mourning as visual and symbolic lexicons.
